1 Bedroom Suite Glacier and Mountaineer Lodge

Positive: Roomy bathroom, Washing machine and dryer, Kitchen is good. Furnitures are enough. Negative: There was a sudden electric outage caused from the wildfire and lasted for 26 hours. During time my food is melt or changed in the refrigerator. No elevator(dark starecases), no hot water, no shower, no mobile service. It was all around at Golden. After that, the lodge compensated for that. Sorry for the wildfires

Positive: Winter with snow is probably great. In summer it is OK.

The facilities were fine, but the room was quite dated. Worn carpets, broken patio screen etc. Positive: Check in was easy and the staff was attentive of some of the issues that came up during our stay. Negative: It would be nice if there were more information pamphlets in the room on how to operate the TV and related equipment. I don't know if there was a way to watch local sports on the television but I couldn't figure it out. All it seemed I could access was streaming services like Prime, Paramount+, etc. I was trying to find TSN to watch the Blue Jays and couldn't find it.

Vacation... You need to make the best out of a crappy situation. Life is too short to not too. Positive: Location of the place was great. Loved that it was on the mountain, and easy to do the activities on the hill, and get to town. We love the outdoors and booked this place for that reason. it was really great that way. and the staff on the hill for the activities were so knowledgeable and helpful also. highly recommend Negative: We were not given the room we booked and needed to move two times to get somewhat similar reservations. I have used booking.com for years and this is the first time ever that I have not been given what I booked. when I contacted the owners, they did give us a new room, but we had to move two times to accommodate our stay, and it really just made the stay very inconvenient.

Overall wasnt happy Positive: No breakfast, the suite would have been nice if was cleaned ablot better. Looks like they only made bed really. Negative: Location was pretty nice but internet/wifi barely worked. Couldn't even watch a movie on Netflix. Place was Dirty. Table not even wiped, microwave and appliances dirty, floors weren't done well... washer/dryer stunk and needed cleaning. Hair in several areas of the fabric couch. Bedroom closet had two very nasty dirty fans and dirty blankets that weren't even folded in the closet. I asked twice for extra towels never received. Customer service was terrible. No breakfast, pay extra for parking even though their own site said complimentary but wouldn't honor that. If was clean and better service I would have considered staying again.
