Spacious Rockies Escape near Banff |Hot tub & Gym!

The property was as described, but some things were not as clean as they should have been. Cooking pots and the floor under the couch for example. There was no binder with operating instructions, so we struggled to figure out a few things like the operation of the fireplaces and the mood lighting in the ceiling. Balcony lights were so dirty we couldn’t tell the wall switch was even operating them until after dark, and then they provided no useful light. There is a wall switch in one of the bedrooms which we never did figure out what it operated. We also never were able to turn on either fireplace in the two bedrooms. Bath/shower valve operated with effort (not easily) in the bathroom off the living room. We made do and were glad the are was so beautiful we could justify our stay.

Good location for visiting Banff and enjoying Canmore. Positive: The location is good - about 5 minute walk to a sizable outdoor mall with multiple restaurants, and a 5 minute drive to the busy Downtown Canmore area. Parking is secured in an indoor garage with direct elevator access to all of the units. The large hot tub was greatly appreciated after days spent hiking. The unit itself was spacious - the bedrooms are small with limited drawer space but adequate for 2 persons/bedroom. The living room/dining area/kitchen areas are spacious. The bathrooms are large with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The washing machine/dryer and the supplied detergent/dryer sheets in the unit were very nice to have. The hosts provided excellent, timely communication and were very friendly. Negative: The facilities are a bit older so you can see some wear/tear. That being said, the facilities were clean and we didn't encounter any broken/dysfunctional equipment/facilities.

The property was well stocked, very clean, and had spectacular views. Host checked on us frequently. Checkout was super smooth and easy! Looking forward to coming back.
