Tranquil 2BR Getaway with MTN Views Near Banff!

The apartment was simply ideal. It was spotless, had every amenity you could need, and was ideally located in Canmore. It was literally a few yards from the Main Street. We chose the property originally for it's location but everything inside suited us perfectly. The hosts were in regular communication to make sure everything was what we needed. Thank you to them. We'd definitely would stay there again!

The property was beautiful, according to our friends who traveled with us, well located and well stocked for the most part, except for a pitcher and condiments. Dealing with the owner was not so smooth. I reserved the place, but received a devastating medical diagnosis literally on the plane on the way to the mountains. It was a Friday a week before the rental began. I was told that was not a "VRBO approved reason to cancel". In other instances, someone might offer to relist the property and reimburse me if it rented, a likelihood on a holiday weekend. She refused "We follow VRBO rules". Then I asked to move the conversation to the couple we were traveling with, so they could get the move-in instructions the owner refused to give until immediately before check-in, at a time I would be in the hospital, dealing with other issues. After MULTIPLE communication failures, she agreed to contact my friends, and then continued to have the system contact me and I had to copy each message to my friends, then she gave me an incorrect phone number and my friends stood on the doorstep with their luggage while they couldn't reach her and even when they did she couldn't get the code to the door right for multiple attempts. And still I got automated notices. All in all, as long as everything goes perfectly with your travels, the place is nice. If you want to stay somewhere with any personal attention, look elsewhere.

Very enjoyable, relaxing, Positive: Great location for exploring, plenty of space, well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable. Negative: Slight issue with keypad on door which failed, problem was sorted quickly.

Famity from England Positive: The location was BRILLIANT. Right in the centre of town. The property is spacious with all the amenities as home from home. Beautifully clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but it would make an amazing base to stay and explore the area more. Highly recommended. Negative: There was nothing to dislike.

We were told the cleaners used the parking spot until 4:00 which was check in time. We saw the spot was empty just before four so we parked and went up to the apartment after great difficulty with the various codes and locks. So much so I spent a long time on the phone with the representative. On entering the unit it was a total mess and had not been cleaned. We were told that the cleaners were late because of car trouble and that I had been notified at 2:30. That was not true! I would not have gone if I had known that. We left shortly thereafter and was told later the room was ready at 4:30. How that place was cleaned up in twenty minutes is not possible, if it was done that quickly , we had no desire to stay there and checked into a hotel. I told the owner a refund of one night would compensate a little. I do not like to be lied to. The following photos were taken at 3:58pm on June 16.
