An inviting and functional getaway for a young family Positive: We enjoyed the size of our unit, the two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Kitchen was very well stocked with equipment and the unit appeared well cleaned and ready for our stay. As a family we also enjoyed the views of the mountains and the fact we were close enough to many of Canmores amenities to walk instead of drive. Negative: There were a few things we noticed during our stay that I would like to address. First, the ventilation in both bathrooms in our unit did not work. The moisture did not have anywhere to go and while standing fans were supplied as a solution for the moisture, mould and mildew was an increasing concern during our stay. Secondly, as a person who worked in aquatics for many years, the water quality of the cold pool was concerning. In fact it was quite murky and filthy smelling as we neared the end of our stay. I don’t know what the maintenance schedule or chemistry testing schedule is for that pool but due to the high volume of bodies entering that water, it could have used a chlorine shock and possibly a filter cleanse. The filters were unable to keep up in order to maintain satisfactory water conditions. Due to the water quality we were not able to enjoy the aquatic facilities much at all.

We had a very pleasant experience. Well equipped kitchen was much appreciated. Lots of thoughtful inclusions. Great value. Would book again.

Good location & responsive host but had no control of heat in the condo & fireplace did not work. Positive: Good location, easy to find, had partial view of mountains. Hosts emailed to check in on our stay & were helpful Negative: Had to email the host to get them to turn up the heat, we did not have control of the heat thermostat. It was too cold in the condo . Fireplace also didn’t not work. We were sent a video on how to operate it, but it only blew cold air. My husband is a HVAC tech and easily can troubleshoot such heat problems but this fire place simply did not produce any heat and was probably broken for some time. If we had to know the fire place didn’t work we wouldn’t have stayed there. We travelled with our young baby and toddler, so having a comfortable temperature is essential or at least have control of the thermostat. Seemed a little misleading.
