Gateway Suites: Cozy stay to explore Banff/Canmore

Positive: L'emplacement face aux Rocheuses. La reactivite de l'hôte au debut de sejour sur l'impossinilite de se connecter avec le wifi Negative: Equipements communs tels que bouilloire, micro ondes.. alors que ce n'est pas clairement mentionne dans l'annonce. C'est une chambre et non un appartement (pb de traduction?) . La chambre proche de l'espace commun de l'etage et des escaliers en bois rendent l'endroit bruyant. Le prix est trop élevé pour cette chambre sans equipements. Manque de prevision et de transparence.

Positive: Sauberkeit außerhalb von Canmore, aber doch zügig mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Negative: Leider etwas hellhörig.

It could have been much better if power issues sorted. Positive: I was warm and cozy. Well appointed. Negative: We were without power for 24 hrs which was very inconvenient. The managers/ owners were apologetic in full contact with us as they tried to rectify the issue, with 2 rooms that we know of. Apparently it is an old residence that has been refurbished. They gave us a reasonable cash back for our inconvenience. The location was a drive to any restaurant or food store. Food was prepared by guests at makeshift areas and the smells filled the residence. Appliances were provided but no crockery, cutlery or sink. A proper kitchen area with sink and exhaust fans would be more appropriate if they are to encourage self catering. No kettle for tea for the 3 days we there.
